Game Preview: Virginia at Maryland

Those of you reading this in an RSS feed reader might need to click back to the blog to see the tables.

A tight matchup across the board, and home court is the only factor that creates any real separation between the two teams. One thing to keep an eye on, and it may or may not affect the outcome of the game: Maryland is 10th-best in the country at blocking shots, with an adjusted rate of 17.3 blocks per hundred opponents' attempts, while Virginia is among the best offenses in the nation when it comes to not having their shots blocked, with a scant 6.1 adjusted blocks per 100 attempts.
