Just for the hell of it, I've computed each team's chances of winning the NIT using TAPE matchups. Not surprisingly, the advantage of playing the first three rounds on their home courts gives each of the #1 seeds at least a 45% chance of playing in the Garden. The favorite to win it all? Ohio State (19.9%), followed by Arizona State (14.8%), Syracuse (10.8%), and Virginia Tech (10.5%). The complete breakdown is here.
